Application:

Use Semican Mulch over new grass seeds to help prevent erosion, add nutrients to the soil and maintain moisture, to protect the root system in your garden, flower beds, shrubs and around the tree trunks.

Directions for use:

As a protective lawn mulch over grass seeds apply a thin layer about ¼’’ (0.65 cm) uniformly. As long as we see the grass. Wet down after spreading. The mulch will biodegrade, adding organic matter to the soil. One bag will cover approximately 600 ft2 (56 m2) when applied 1/4" thick.

The chopped SEMICAN MULCH can be applied in your garden in any desired thickness from a uniform 1/4" layer to several inches. Water Semican Mulch immediately after application. This will keep the mulch in place and moist. In the autumn, turn the mulch down into the soil to add nutrients. One bag will cover approximately 150 ft when applied one inch thick.
